HERE WE GO AGAIN!
We have been living fairly normal lives for the past 6 years ... became Grandparents ... bought a new "Big Old House" ... started our Garringer Images photography business .... had a terrific spot at the local City Farmer's Market ... All Very Nice, but . . .
WE MISS LIFE ON THE ROAD!
So we are going to start by taking the summer off . In June we'll be hitting the road - destinations unknown. There is one significant difference though; we are tired of sleeping on the ground - in a tent. We are also tired of staying in a different motel every night. So, instead of riding fully self-contained, the Fools On'a Mission are going to travel with a Base Camp that we affectionately call the "Wide Body". It's a Coach House conversion van - small but comfy. It's not a motel but it's a heck of a lot better than the ground.
Our plan is to boondock when possible - riding rings out to explore and returning to base camp for the night. Then moving on to wherever our noses lead us because it's not about just getting there . . . So once again we are keeping a log so that friends, relatives and fellow cyclists can follow our daily challenges and foolish adventures. Thanks for Riding Along!
